Windows 7 Recycle Bin

Is the desktop the only way to access the recycle bin? I've hidden the icon (don't like it on my desktop) but can't find the bin in My Computer where it used to be in Vista and XP).

Often times, you can get to it through any drive that the recycle bin is setup on. You'll most likely find it within C:\$Recycle.Bin

It's not in "My Computer", it's on the desktop....

It should be there even if its hidden if you open windows explorer and browse to the desktop.

If you want to be technical, it's neither. It's a special folder that is accessible through the shell/Windows Explorer.

Alternately, you can type shell:RecycleBinFolder into Explorer's address bar.
