I'm having a problem installing a plug-and-play device "Akai APC40". The product comes with no drivers and windows is supposed to recognize it right away. I should have used the USB ports on the back of my computer when connecting the device for the first time but I connected it to the ones on the front instead. When "Found New Hardware" came up it concluded with "No driver found". I went into device manager and the device was there with a yellow exclamation marker. I ran the uninstall and tried installing again using the ports on the back of my computer to no avail. I even tried a different USB cable. I had the same problem a while back when I was trying to install an HP printer. It seems that when the first driver installation fails windows remembers it. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?
