Does anyone know if this is possible?
I just got a new Dell E7470 laptop at work. It's a nice little machine but it has one of those new excessive resolution screens at 2560x1440 on a 14" screen.
The corporate windows image is Windows 7 based, and I don't have any option to change that.
I've never played much with Windows scaling as I was never had a reason to. I've noticed that if I change scaling it does so for all screens.
I can scale it up on the laptop screen, but this means that when I dock it everything on my two 1920x1200 screens winds up being HUGE.
I could change the scaling settings every time I dock/undock but this requires logging out and logging back in again which is a huge pain.
For now, I've solved the problem by just running the laptop screen at a lower resolution, but that is not ideal.
Is there any way to better deal with this issue?
Appreciate any input
