HP Pavilion dv3510nr 13" laptop, about a year old
GeForce 9300M
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

A couple days ago, I lost the ability to change my screen brightness. It's not available through Win+X or in the power options. I tried a system restore to a couple days ago, installed the latest drivers from nVidia, and nothing's changed. Anyone seen this or have any idea what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!

doesn't your laptop have a func plus a key to control that?

I saw this on older laptops (like my Inspiron E1505). Check your BIOS settings--try changing them, rebooting, and changing them back. It sound silly, but it worked for me when my screen brightness got "stuck." The BIOS settings may be over-riding everything else.
