I've downloaded Win 7 from MSDN AAOSS and validated the download.

As usual, I've used Class A media and burned it using 4X and verified the disk via Nero.

Is that enough or is there an alternative application that can verify the data integrity better and has the ability to scan the physical attributes of the disk as well?

That should be good, but if you're paranoid enough:

Code:
robocopy <disc root path> <mounted ISO path> /MIR /L

Is there something about Neros verify you dont like?

I found that what kills data the most is bad media, bad media storage and age.
I havent had a disk fail to work straight after being verified ok by Nero.

No, jus tneeded a second-opinion to to be sure ^-^

Same here, but when it comes to OS, it's best to be 100% sure ^-^

PS: Since 2004, I always stuck to Class A media.
