I am having an odd issue with windows 7.
my hardware
X2 5800
Audigy 2
ATI 4850
RT2560 (Wireless card)
4gb RAM
400Gb SATA
Previously had Vista U64
When installing Win7 Home Premium the initial installation works great, i am able to boot up into windows just fine. the problem is the reboot after i get into windows 7 for the first time. The Windows 7 boot just hanges at the "Starting Windows" , the colored flying blobs never show up.
upong rebooting i have tried everything from Safe Mode to System Restore etc..
when Windows reboots it goes into an automatic repair mode, it eventually returns an "Unable to repair" and gives a "bad driver" report or something like that (I am not familiar with what it is saying) but doesn't state which driver.
the only way i have been able to re-load windows 7 is by actually reinstalling it.
Any ideas what might be happening or how i can track down which driver it is hanging on? nothing i have been able to do will get me back into windows (even Safe mode fails to load anything).
