Windows 3.11 on Vista! [warning: images]

Oh man...memories.

Yep, it take me back to a day when computers were exciting and interesting. Even with Vista, the interface really hasn't changed that much from Windows 95. They said when they launched XP it was the biggest leap forward in computing since Windows 95. They said the same with Vista. There is just nothing new and exciting anymore. We all expect it to do what it does and then some. I don't think they'll ever recreate that excitement again. :(

Yep, so true of many things in my past computer experience. Nothing compared to the first one or two BBS's I encountered with a 2400 baud modem and found shareware files. Wow.... those were the days.

Man I would love to get a Win 98SE/Win 3.11 box back up so I play some the older games. To the OP good job. :)

It's no fun unless you're running Win 3.1 emulated in another OS which is running in a virtual machine.

Very true. ;)

Funny I should see this thread, as my next "project" is doing some nostalgic computing with OS/2 and Win 3.1 (possibly even Win 95):D.
