Winamp 5 enables some crap features by default

I found whilst snooping the latest version of Winamp (upgraded recently) that some questionable features are enabled by default.

So I changed them to standard settings and disabled the limiter and after a reload found music had a bit more depth, more clearer - more normal.

Background ambience such as Vocals etc are much more audible now.
Give it a shot!

i just tried that out, and well it sounds the same to me, but then again i have some crappy headphones

The differences are subtle (but still audible) and most likely you'll only hear the difference on certain types of music so have a varied play of your music collection

This should only really effect you if you use Winamp's Equalizer. I don't and noticed no difference listening to my FLACs.
