Win98 install prob.

Ok well i was reinstalling win98 on the good old web surfer and when it was copying the files it came up with this.

You interrupted setup while it was copying windows files from a setup [.CAB] file.

Any ideas?

Bad CD perhaps? Did you try again from the beginning?

Yes i did it like 8 times. And with two HDDS and two cd drives.

Then its possibly a bad CD. Try it on another computer if possible.

Well do you think i should try and burn a new disc?

Try copying the cab and setup files to a dir on the HD, remove the CD, and run setup from the HD.

You could also try that. Or as shown above, copy the cabs to your HD and run it from there.
