I'm trying to help out my niece and take her old puter and tweek it by doing a RECOVERY, updating firmware and drivers, and also trying to update SP3 and .Net framework 2,
but even with Windows update on Automatic, and I've tried to search on Windowsupdate site, when i get to the page with EXPRESS or CUSTOM the Express takes me to a page that has only one option....IT developers that need to update on more than one computer, then it says if you only need to update to one computer, then go to this site". I'm going around in circles here! Then I get this message below:
"The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem."
ERROR # 0x8024400A
Auto updates are ON and enabled...why doesn't Windows update the SP3 and .NET FRAMEWORK?
