Will R9 290/290X prices drop once the new cards release?

I've been waiting to buy a 290/290X for a little while, but figured I might as well wait for the next gen cards to drop before doing so. Any thoughts/speculation on whether 290's will fall in price, and if so, how much (used and new)?

Where have you been? I sound rather dick-ish but you can find 290x's on sale for like $250 now. I cant even sell my 2 290x's vanillas for $125 each lol

...and this undermines my original question how? Whatever the price now, I'm wondering if there will likely be a drop when the new line releases, and particularly with how low the price has already gone up until now.

don't know how much lower they can go...I don't see it dropping under $200
