will dual channel still run ?

I'm using nforce 570 AM2 mobo,

I'm currently using 512X2 ram, can I add 1GBx2, so total will be 512MBX2 + 1GbX2 = 3GB, will dual channel still work ?

As I understand it, no, you must have ONLY matched pairs, i.e. you can't run one pair in dual channel mode and the other "pair" (a single stick in your case) in single channel mode. Not that it makes a huge difference, the performance gain from dual channel mode is pretty small really. Though of course I wouldn't want my RAM running in single-channel mode anyway, it's the principle of the thing
