I have 2 gigabyte 4670 cards right now
both got given to me for free from a friend who upgraded to a 4870x2

I have a old p4 system that I'm finally going to upgrade
I'm going with a Phenom x4 9550 and I have been looking at SLI mobo's and most of the ones that have the features I want (esata, 1394, etc) come in 3way sli for very little more than the 2way sli

so thus brings up the question
I can get another 4670 for cheap
do the 4670's support 3way sli and are the gains worth it for the extra cost ($120ish between extra mobo & card cost)

(I have a power supply and the other needed bits to support the cards already)

For socket 775:
SLI = Nvidia Chipsets ONLY
Crossfire = AMD and Intel chipsets ONLY

You cannot use ATI cards like the HD4670 in SLI, only Crossfire. Did you mean three-way Crossfire?

And generally no, three way SLI or Crossfire of any cards isn't really worth it.
