If you are close to your router and have no need for the signal to go very far, you could decrease the router's signal strength. For example, in my router's admin page, under the Advanced>Wireless(Wi-Fi) menu it lists "Transmit Power" with a drop-down menu with Low/Medium/High options. Some might have a user-input box where you enter a number that will = a percentage (but I doubt yours will). Whatever method it provides, decrease it and see if that helps
