Wierd Italic Problem

Recently a lot of things on the internet have appeared in Italics for me. They look fine on other PCs, but some places on my PC are in italics.

For example, I visit a few forums that use IPB, on those forums, all names and topic titles appear in italics even though I know they are not. I use FF, but this is happening in IE also AND even Dreamweaver!

What's up with that? Nothing is in italics here though.

So I was playing around in dreamweaver to find the cause of it, and it looks like some bold text is turning out as bold and italic.

How can I fix this?

I'm having the same problem and It is driving me nuts. I've tired looking through my Appearance settings, but nothing is selected as italics.

I right clicked my desktop, went to properties, appearance, advanced, and checked the menus for any selected "I" and there was nothing.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thank god I'm not alone. 1 month on and it's still there. Really irritating.
