Why is NoScript eating all my bandwidth?

So I noticed that something was using all my bandwidth on my 10mbit line, max download but minimal to no upload. After some head scratching I found out it was the NoScript addon in Firefox that was the culprit, it automatically updated yesterday and I haven't had this issue before.

I tried a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with all the other addons I use and have had no issues, but at some random time after I install NoScript my bandwidth monitoring program shows a 1.3MB/s download running and it doesn't stop until I close the browser.

I've used Firefox without NoScript all day without issues but it's a good addon that I want so what is going on?

How long does it remain full bandwidth use?
How do you know it is noscript using the bandwidth?

I've been wondering lately if NoScript uses quite a bit of computational power when blocking scripts on "heavy" web sites.

It shouldnt constantly use CPU.
It disables scripts when they try to run as the page loads.

I run that add on all the time with firefox and have no problems with it.
