Why does Windows Update force SQL Server updates?

I don't even need SQL server. I don't even use it. I just use my laptop for productivity work. Why does Microsoft force SQL downloads on my laptop? Can I uninstall them because I honestly don't use 'em and they just take up space. Thoughts?

You probably have SQL server installed and do not know it. Workstation may be running an instance of MSDE/SQL Express...which is the "baby version" of SQL Server.

Have Office installed with Business Contact Manager? Or some line of business software?
