I walked into my office and I could hear it making a humming noise.

Do ya think I should send it back?

its not just gonna fall off

Is it cracked off or is the entire fin missing? If it's a 7000 hs then the fin is a solid slice through the contact area and would be bad if that fell off..

Ah, one of the cables must have brushed against with while I was sleeping. I can see frayed wireless. Gosh, glad it didn't kill my mother board or anything else.

If he's saying a cable was to blame for it I'm guessing it was probably one of the fan fins, eh. Either way, after two years the warranty has probably expired and leaving dangling cables to fall into your HSF isn't exactly covered by it I would think. :rolleyes:

Heh, that's surprising... I wouldn't think those old Blue Orbs would have the power to do much damage, the chrome Orb-like cooler on my old GF2 won't even pinch my finger considerably if caught in it.
