There's so much porn it's probably hard to track. More porn clips gets recorded than games / tv shows in a year.
Wow, Ohio torrents a lot more than I would have expected. I figured California would have been higher up than that.
I don't know how accurate all this is when a lot of people are using vpn's.
Probably can't afford hbo is more like it.lol, the Game of Thrones states look almost like a list of Red states. I guess those who hate government like watching how bad it can be.
In 2009, when you looked at who paid for the most online porn, the redder the state, the more porn they bought. But that was a long time ago by Internet standards, and who pays for porn these days?
those floridians just don't give a fuck. They pirate a lot of everything.
If you lived in a place as boring as Ohio, you'd look for entertainment wherever you could find it too.
Well that and wages suck, so media costs are higher as a percentage of income than in some place like CA.
Except that makes no sense. Iowa is much more boring, same with the Dakotas, yet there's less pirating going on in those 3 states, and they also get paid on average less than Ohio.

When you look at pages viewed per capita on pornhub, blue states viewed more pages per capita than red states, but not very many more (a 13% difference). When you look at average visit duration by state on pornhub, red states are watching porn for a longer period of time. Putting those two together - red states view fewer pages but take longer to view them - seems more like evidence of Internet bandwidth issues than evidence of who is watching more porn.
