I'm sure all WinXP are compatible with an A64. But are there any that actually make use of the 64 bit processing? I heard there was a XP64 beta out. By now, I'd hoped it was in production. Is this true? Do XPsp1 or sp2 use the 64bit? What about the new XP Media center 2005??? If XP64 still beta where can I get a copy?

Thanks

several Linux distro's have a 64-bit version....i know my SuSe 9.2 Pro has both 32 and 64 bit versions on the installation discs.

but as for Windows, the service packs have nothing to do with whether or not the OS is natively 64-bit compatible....the kernel of the OS actually has to support it, and there are no retail versions of Windows that support 64-bit yet. and as far as i know, there's no way to upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit...it will require a completely new install.
