Which one: MSI P55-GD65, ASUS P7P55D PRO, or GIGABYTE GA-P55-UD4P

Gonna start ordering parts for my new build in the next couple days and I'm not sure which one to go with. Gonna be using an i5-750. Plan on doing some moderate OCing.


What do you guys think?

It's really a toss-up. Just go with whichever brand you prefer. I'd personally stick with ASUS because I like the way they lay out their BIOSes, but both of the other boards have been putting up very good results in reviews.

Yea that's pretty much what I figured.

This article says the Asus and Gigabyte BIOSes are almost exactly identical. I like both color schemes........soooooo hard to choose!

I haven't read the reviews for those specific boards, but I would be choosing between ASUS and Gigabyte. I assume both of them are quite similar in terms of performance. Doesn't that new Gigabyte P55 board have 24-phase power which the company has been marketing aggressively as of late?

out of those 3, i would have to go with the either of the 2 lesser expensive evga boards, or if you dont mind spending 2 bills, get this killer

I would go with the DFI, but I honestly can't afford spending the extra $30 right now.

Also, the cheapest EVGA board is $170.

No. I think that's only the UD5.

The UD4p has 8 phase power. I believe the UD5 has 12 phase.

I'm up to 190bclk on my UD4p and everything's stable so far.

I stand corrected. Too many model numbers to keep track of. The UD5 was Gigabyte's top of the line X58 board so I assumed it was the same for their P55 boards as well.
