dunno about anyone else, but i just recieved an IBM/Lenovo T60 from work and it's got damned good reception. I have a Toshiba as well, and this IBM picks up a LOT farther away...as in...almost twice as far. I can walk anywhere in the house with this T60 and I get excellent reception at 54mb....the Toshiba I can go the same places, but the signal quality sometimes drops to below average and the speed often drops to 24mb.
I have a Latitude D510 and it's wireless kicks the shit out of my Powerbook G4 12" I have but I'm wonderin if there is better especially since im upgrading soon. How are the new mac book pros?
