I have both an Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 and an Asrock 990Fx Extreme 3.
My FX-8350 is currently running at 4.4Ghz on the 970 Extreme 3. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU/MB on my son's computer using an FX-4130 chip.
Do I leave the 8350 paired with the 970 and see how high I can push the 4130 with the 990FX? Or should I use the 990FX with the 8350 and see how the 4130 and 970 board pair up?
