I have been doing some research on HTPCs and HDTVs, but I still have a few questions / concerns.
Needs:
I would like to purchase a wide format (16:9) LCDTv display that I can use a a monitor for my PC to play games, write programs, browse the web, and watch DVD movies. Image quality and clarity is a must because I spend alot of time working. I know I can go out and get a 'regular' LCD display (4:3), but I think the 16:9s are SOOO nice!
General question:
I have looked at a couple wide-format 17" LCD displays (from Dell, Viewsonic, and Samsung). The display 1280 x 768 on them. Anybody have any experience with them? Any pros / cons? My budget for this is <$800, so I can't go much bigger than 17". The display also has to fit on my (rather large) desk. Suggestions for other monitors/hdtvs based on my needs are greatly appreciated!
