Price difference is negligible. I need to know soon so that hopefully they'll ship it out today. Thanks. Reason of these is that they have 3 year warranty or better (XFX has lifetime.) I've had bad experiences with 2 year warranties running out.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Personally. I'd go with the XFX one. While I like Gigabyte, I find XFX double lifetime warranty to be a great selling point. I run two XFX 6870's in CF now (two reference cards) and they run excellent. No complaints at all.

How do those 6800 series scale in xfire? Im curious? The prices arent that bad. Probably because the bitcrap mining tools arent snatching them up by the dozen.

They scale extremely well in CF, and perhaps I've just been fortunate, but I've had very, very few problems running CF. I was a little hesitant at first, but am glad I went that route.

Custom PCB which is longer than the reference PCB while leaving some unsued space.Temperature on fullload is only 2 degrees lower than reference cooling. Also no cooling for the memory module.

In short,a no-go for the DirectCU.

@OP:You can choose this one,i'm gonna get one of this too:

ocing is not just about the cooling....the MSI is very good but i wouldnt pay the extra money, especially since its noisy at load on performance mode. also, these cards benefit from core oc way more than memory.

My second 5870 was a Gigabyte and I am now a fan of their cards because their cooling solution is much quieter than the stock solution. My 5870 has 2 of those fans though and not three.

I have the XFX 2 Fan designed card.

Love it. Very quiet under load and does a great job..

So that is my vote.

I suggest you to read the review of both of them and compare by yourself, they both had review on [H] not long ago.

And memory with heatsink is cooler and better than not,OCing or not.

I would personally get the Gigabyte, I got the Sapphire not long after they came out because it was a killer price, but I wanted that Gigabyte!

The first link points to a XFX HD 6850?

But anyway, i'd get the either XFX's here:

1st one is a reference card (some say they use higher quality components)
2nd is not reference and runs very quiet. (oddly enough its more expensive than the reference, probably because of the good cooler)
can't go wrong with either. i'd probably still get the non-reference.
And both come with Dirt 3 ! :)

No, just about all newer games though. Some games you need to turn off crossfire for them to perform properly. Today I had to disable it in a game because I got a BSOD with Crossfire enabled. Download RadeonPro so you can create custom game launcher profiles and use it to turn off crossfire if a game requires it and have access to more options.

QFT. It is a great selling and re-selling point when upgrading. :D If you get XFX, try to stick to reference designs. Some of their "custom" boards can be on the problematic side from what I hear.
