I just upgraded one of my systems from Win 7 to Win 10 Pro, and Acronis Disk Director Home 11 stopped working.

I don't want to pay for the upgrade to Disk Director Home 12 because I think that all the key partition management functionality is available for free. And the "OS Selector" multi-boot manager is a true POS. (n)

So what free partition manger do you guys like and recommend? :)

    Thanks.

Yes GParted. Making a bootable USB thumbdrive using YUMI = happiness and everlasting joy.

I guess I don't see what the purpose is. Disk Manager allows you to create and edit partitions and it's built into Windows. EasyBCD allows you to use a GUI and adjust the Windows Boot Manager if you need to do that.

I wanted to create an Extended Partion on an MBR disk, but the Disk Manager built into Admin tools insisted on creating a second Primary partition. I also want abilities like moving or resizing a partition.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition is totally free and can fully satisfy your common need about disk.

I've used GParted to resize partitions and would recommend.
