I've heard that the Latitude and Precision series have decent keyboards, but are there any Dell laptop keyboards that rival the Lenovo Thinkpad series?
The keyboards on the recent regular and 2-in-1 XPS 13 are different. The latter is shallower and closer to the maligned Apple butterfly keyboard in feel.

I'm typing this on a Thinkpad P53. The keyboard is better than what is typically found on consumer-targeted laptops but it's a far cry from the legendary Thinkpad keyboards of lore. The keyboard on my work-issued Latitude 5591 is no worse than the P53's other than slight differences in the trackpoint modules. The same has been true of other Latitudes that I've used.
