Borrowed boomheadshot45's idea. I think this is what he originally wanted to do.

Please do NOT post unless you actually own a 20 or 21" monitor. If you own one, tell us what you have and how satisfied you are from scale 1-10 (10 being the best). One or two word replies that has absolutely nothing to do with the title are very annoying. Honest opinion please!

I've had my Dell 2005FPW for about 2 months now. I am 100% completely in love with this monitor. It is simply the best I've seen. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

You better add the HP f2105 to your poll. A few people in here have that one.

Pretty satisfied with the BenQ FP202W. I realise there are better monitors out there but they were out of my price range.

    Pros: fast, crisp, clear image
black bezel doesnt draw attention to itself
great value, was 30% cheaper than FP2005 which was on sale (20% off rrp)

Cons: buzzing can be heard from back of monitor, black image on screen meaning all pixels at full current draw clearly louder than white image, almost silent
when viewing from off centre, brightness decreases and discoloration occurs (not too severe but definitely noticable)
no height adjust ( ive sat mine on my video card box, puts it up to a nice height)
    side mounted

When viewing it from straight on, which with a computer monitor you always do, the pictures perfect, and at its price point it was too hard to pass up!

    You're missing some LCDs...

    Dell
    2000FP
    2001FP

    Samsung 213T.

I have a 2000FP. I had 2 2001FPs, and the 2000FP has better color than either one of them. It's over 3 years old, and I'm as happy with it now as I was when I first got it. Until there's a better LCD out there that's worth getting, I'm running on this.

Im loving my Viewsonic WX2025WM. No ghosting that I can find, not a single dead pixel, and very minor backlight bleed compred to pics ive seen of 2005fpw's.

9/10 simply cause of the minor bleeding.

I only listed widescreen LCD's. I tried changing the title, but it wouldn't change for some reason... hehe sorry.

I have a Dell 2005FPW and while it\'s a really good monitor, it\'s time for something bigger. A 27\" would be perfect... if they ever come out.

2005fpw. Love it, but Ill give 8/10 for backlight and HDCP, and because as with all LCD's, I can still notice the response time.

I'm on my second 2005FPW. The first had major backlight bleeding; the replacement is tolerable. The color and illumination uniformity are not as good as the first one, though. I guess it's worth what I paid for it (~$360).

    NEC 20WMGX2

    8/10

Cons (lot for 8/10, i know, but i'm being picky here and this monitor has it where it counts)
    -----------
Some very minor backlight bleeding on the bottom left (not the position of my head), one dead pixel (hardly noticeable), ghosting (but not bad for an LCD), glossy screen reflects life (no problem in a dark room but make sure the room it goes in has shades if you're picky about seeing what's behind you), only one digital input (silly they didn't put hdmi or another dvi), no height adjustment, runs very warm, price.

    Pros
    -----------
Everything else... Beautiful colors, deep blacks, perfect image clarity, lots of analog inputs, stylish, lots of features. This monitor and all of the images it produces look just superb.

Bought the Gateway, ended up returning it. I couldn't justify keeping it only because of the native resolution. I play my games at 1600x1200 and I couldn't adjust to the 1650x1080 (or whatever). I'd give it a 6.

Agreed completely. Beautiful monitor. No color banding, streaking, ghosting, or dead pixels. More than I could ask for.

    Ok here goes.....

What about some of the more expensive Lcd's.
    I own:
    Sony PremierPro 23 incher
    Apple 23 incher
    Dell 2005fpw (bought several)
    Dell2405fpw

All are beautiful lcds but the worse i would probably say is the 2005fpw. I would give it a 7 rating. My Sony and my apple have excellent excellent screens so easily a 10. My dell 24 incher is my current everyday use monitor and its also a 10. But these scores are superficial because each one has their greats and misses. For example the apple is a great movie monitor but my sony is an awesome gaming monitor. My 2005fpw is nice for gaming but average for movies. Overall i would say my dell 2405 is the best but it still cant beat the sony and the apple in their categories.

    Hope this helps :)

    Samsugn 214T.

I love it. Well worth the money. If I had 300 extra bucks I would have got the 24", but the 21" is a nice monitor.

I would rate my Dell 2005FPW 9/10. I would've given it a 10 but after seeing the new Samsung 215TW at Fry's Electronics today, I would have to say image quality on the Samsung is a little better. I love the 4 usb port on the 2005FPW though. I don't understand why other monitors don't have them. Such a useful feature. =)

dell 2005 fpw with no backlight issues (except mine did and went back) 6.5/10

acer al2032wa which replaced it 9.5/10
