Where to put SLI bridge?

Got a pair of 970's and I've got to ask a dumb question. There are two connectors on the top of the card for plugging in the SLI bridge. Does it matter which one I use?
 
You can use which ever set of fingers. Front or back, no difference. If in your mind, it does make a difference....go with that. ;)

For a while, I convinced myself the fingers closest to the screen input's were the best. Since they were "closer" they would transfer data faster....:D

*goes and looks*, yep still there!

Without looking, I think they actually go to the PCIE slot rather than where the screen inputs are soldered on.
