Hey all, I recently tried to buy a new bulb for my older Toshiba DLP from advancedlamps.com, but it's been on back order for way too long. Does anyone have any retailers that they have had positive experience with?

If you can get the model #, eBay's got tons of sellers for bulbs, both OEM and aftermarket.

Yeah, Ebay. Sometimes people have rebuilt knock off bulbs that are just as good, for a lot less money.

I also recommend you buy it *in* the housing for the extra couple bucks.

Aren't there a lot of Chinese knockoffs on ebay. I know Amazon is full of them. Bulbs with the housing for $45. Shit reviews though. A legit one is $99 for just the bulb minus housing. With the housing $150 plus. I need to get one for my TV as well.

I bought from this ebay seller back in 2009 for my Sony http://stores.ebay.com/NEI-Lamps-and-Electronics?_rdc=1

Was legit Sony, less than half suggested retail ($89 vs. $200) packaged well and delivered quickly. I kept them on my list for the next time it burns out. I bought without housing since it saved a few bucks and wasn't a big deal to replace the bulb within.

Dear god, I have had a few of the knockoffs few have lasted more than a couple of weeks, So i too am looking for a good place to buy them.

I got a bulb form here a last july. http://www.bulbsolutions.com/
then the dmd chip went out and it took me 3 months to get the out of warranty repair from samsung actually done...Bought a different tv before it ever got fixed.
