Where to buy a 65W Intel gen11 cpu

You’re missing the fundamental point. We were all confused because you’re asking for something nonsensical. TDP is effectively meaningless now - you set it to what you want. Any chip can be 65W. Even my Threadripper, if I felt like being silly and strange. It would clock like crap but it would do it.

Fuck out of my thread troll. In fact better yet, I'm blocking you right now. Bye bye troll face.

Why can't you reduce the TDP of a 11600K to 65W in the BIOS? For that matter, why do you need a 65W chip? As others have pointed out even a 65W part is 125W peak, and most boards will hold that peak indefinitely?

I never said that I need a 65W chip. In fact in post #34 I specifically said that I don't need this chip.
Please learn to actually read a thread before responding to it.
Or simply avoid the threads like this one that are too long for you to be bothered to read. Maybe stick with the super short threads that low effort posters can absorb more easily.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Looking for something doesn't necessarily mean that you need it now does it?
I already defined what needs are earlier in this thread. Please do me a favor and put the effort into reading it. Or check out the many other shorter threads on this forum that take less effort to read.

Oh no... You were adamant you "needed" it. If you don't believe me try reading the thread. Notice how other things were suggested and go read your responses to them. Keep switching what your looking for and keep copying the same troll responses. Feel free to copy the one you sent to pendragon and send it to me too. Also feel free to add me to your ignore list if reading my responses is above your comprehension levels.

Better yet find better hobbies then trolling a post. Perhaps pick up a book and read it?

No, you are wrong. I was never adamant that I needed it. In fact I stated the exact opposite. There was no need for you to lie.

Oh really? So then why not consider the i5 11600k that was suggested, and quickly dismissed by you?

Almost as if other options were suggested early on and instead of discuss the feasibility of those you went straight to denying the possibility demanding that a "65 watt" "at msrp" chip be procured.

Because the 11600k isn't a 65W chip. Therefore it had nothing to do with the question that I asked.
And I absolutely did discuss the feasibility of some other options, so I'm really not sure what you are going on about.

You said it had to be. Then you changed. Grow up a bit, perhaps? Or actually specific what you’re looking for.

Ok. I’m trying to help here. You’re acting like it’s 2012; it isn’t. TDP doesn’t work like that now.

I changed my mind because somebody in the thread said that AMD makes chips with igpus in them. I didn't know that when I first created this thread. I think it's a good thing for people to be open to changing their mind about things.

It's a great thing to be able to consider something other then a 65w i5 for msrp. If you had shown willingness from the beginning you cpus have got some good answers for a rig that best fits your use case.

Integrated graphics in amds apus is fantastic for gaming compared to intels igpu.

You REALLY need to do some research. This isn't me trying to be an ass, this is trying to explain orbital mechanics to someone that launched their first estes rocket. This stuff changes FAST right now, especially over the last 3-4 years - you either keep up, or you have to do 2-3 months of intensive research when you get back into it every time right now, because it's just changing constantly.

1. TDP is a meaningless number outside prebuilt systems and servers.
2. TDP is a tunable number - to extremes even.
3. Budget, core count, graphics requirements - go from there. Forget TDP.
4. TDP is ~nonsense~. Really. Even on a prebuilt, TDP is violated constantly. Briefly, perhaps, but violated nonetheless. It means almost ~nothing~.

You already lied to me once about something I supposedly said earlier in this thread, but never did. Sorry, but your reputation with me has been ruined. I don't believe you since you've already proven to be a liar.

*something you implied very clearly. And just about stated.

You dont have to believe me. As I suggested earlier if my posts exceed the abilities of your reading comprehension you are welcome to ignore me. Then you wont have any more lies forced upon you.

I saw what you wrote the first time. There's no need to keep on repeating yourself. It's not accomplishing anything but making this thread longer than it needs to be.
