Since this is a social game and all, I figured I'd start the thread! What server do you play on? Toons names? Guild? RealID? I'll get a templates started :p Any suggestion let me know!

I wouldn't give out your realid to anyone you dont trust, its your account login also remember? If you dont have an Authenticator any hacker could now have your account in about 5 minutes.

somehow I doubt that, unless there's some gaping hole with RealID that Blizzard hasn't closed up.

Asian gold farmers hold a lot of processing power dedicated to bruteforcing your accounts. It's one of the things to facilitate the way they make a living... Phishing is another.

This is funny i wouldn't put a Real-ID up without a Authenticator but as i do and my password is very strong and i change it 1x a month , i highly doubt my wow account can get hacked unless they hack blizzard and find my account info out.

That being said i am not scarrred... R u?

Unless, Old Republic catches my attention I am thinking (really, really hard and not having much success on convincing myself) about starting a weekend raid guild for the casuals. If nothing else to get a chance to see those areas we normally wouldn't see.

Is there an "official" [H]ard guild that is at least somewhat active? I might be tempted to come back and xfer over a toon or level up another one if so...most of my friends or people I used to play with don't play anymore so I just sort of stopped as well but I would play for something to hold me over till BF3 and/or SWTOR.

Used to be raiding...6 days/week between my mage/rogue in vanilla, but then the whole graduating college thing and getting a real day job happened, and aside from some SSC/TK, I haven't raided since. Reactivated a month or so ago, lasted a few weeks, bored again. No fun when all the people I used to play with have moved on to other things. Tis ok, turns out, there's a lot of time in a day when your evenings aren't spent grinding dailies...

Interests: well...I don't know. I FINALLY caved in and started playing after all these years after my wife started earlier this summer. She loves this game, but as a school teacher, only gets to play during summer and any vacation breaks (yes, teachers put in a LOT more hours than people think at work!). I avoided the game forever but I do love RPG's. After playing for the last week, I think I'm kind of addicted. Did my first dungeon last night, tried not to be an idiot, and apparently did pretty well.

So unlike most of you who are 80+, I'm still a super noob learning how to do everything, but very much enjoying it. My wife gets pretty angry when she does dungeons as random people are just...a-holes a lot of the times, so maybe finding some like-minded [H]'ers will give her a chance to really have some fun and do some actual raiding. Neither of us are really interested in a guild for now. She has a L80 night elf warrior.

I've avoided WoW like the plague as I knew I'd like it. Well.. the wife is off on a 3 week trip so I have some time - and now it's free till lev 20. I'm downloading it now.
 
I still play like maybe 30 minute to an hour a week tops... Game is finally dying a slow death...

my step daughter has been playing for a few years. I was talking to her about what class I should be. I mentioned I like playing paladins and she said pally's were over-powered in wow.

That clinched it. :D
