Where / how to buy AMD gpu tomorrow

When I was young I walked 10 miles in the snow to the computer store in my shorts and I will be doing the same tomorrow.
 
Lot of things I'm reading is 6am tomorrow. Same as nvidia 3xxx series launch.

People were already lining up at the local MC here this afternoon; I think the debacle with the Ampere launch has everyone in a panic.
 
Yeah I believe people are lining up already. I am in Canada with two big computer stores 10 Minutes apart. One opens at 10AM and the other 11AM but it is snowing so there is a chance. I will head to first store 2 hours early ,if there is a line up ,my RTX 3080 will hold me over for a couple weeks and maybe grab that Red Devil card.Fuck I hate waiting,If I do not get one tomorrow I will buy a scalper GPU ,see it took me only one comma in a sentence for me to change my mind.Hate waiting for something I have no use for.
 
Micro Center in Columbus, Ohio had 3 people outside at 5 PM waiting. Yes, they are going to wait 16 hours in 30 degree, windy weather, for a video card. No thanks.

Yah that does not bode well at all for tomorrow if true. And no product links yet either.

I strongly suspect, websites are going to crash hard when this goes live. Gonna be 3080 disaster all over again.
 
the whole microcenter launch day list system was destined to fail as soon as one person missed check in and someone held them accountable.

As an AMD shareholder, I say AMD should raise the price on these by $200. Pronto!

If I can't get one, then the Q4 earnings report should at least make it up to me... 😝
 
I am pretty sure Dr Su said that AMD will have plenty of stock for their CPU and GPU launches, basically taking a jab at Nvidia's crappy 3000 series launch, but you can't even buy an AMD processor.

Saw a tweet that the line at the Dallas Microcenter was cut and told to leave after the first 10, so apparently they only got a few in stock.
 
So much for AMDs lies about having ample stock

I was gonna be there at 6am but now it seems like its a waste of fuckn time
 
even if the release day stock was 10x what they actually have it will still sell out, there is no such thing as ample stock
 
So 10x ampere (ampere had like 1 3080 per store in some areas), meaning 10 6800/6800xt per store.... oh man not camping out refuse.

I know you were just trying to be helpful and I appreciate that but I'm not sure this GamesRadar+ info is the most useful. They have just entered "AMD RX 6000" as a search term for each of those retailers and added their affiliate link. I suspect it would be better to search "6800" rather than "6000" as these links do. Maybe they will update the article with direct links but as of now it seems to be a low effort way to get people to use their affiliate code rather than any real info.

why dont you at least wait until the links are live at 9am est. of course there is nothing there yet, you can't link to what doesnt exist. Thought that would be obvious.
