I wanna be apple to play back all my videos just like my PC. What's the best player or players that can support the most codecs?

VLC generally support the most codecs regardless of platform, but I generally just use QuickTime Player + DivX/Xvid codecs.

Any way to at least get Divx on my Mac without being forced to pay? I just wanna play back videos not a whole media creation center.

VLC is a good video playback solution. Without the extra cost of Quicktime and finding and/or buying codecs you play back most videos and in full-screen.

QuickTime is not as buggy, however, and I when watching screen recorded video tutorials/demonstrations and such, I prefer QTP's forward/backward functions over VLC's skip-ten-seconds thing.
