I thought they were going to be released "later this year" back in July. Does "later this year" mean next year in Intel time?

These usually get released when Intel fills their OEM contracts. They could still be having some shortages.

I love the NUCs. I have several Haswell at the office and a Broadwell for home. Can't wait for Skylake! What else new is supposed to come in these versions?

I wish they made one with the 128MB cache! :(

...and how come there's no information on an i7 version? Anybody know if that'll be a thing? I'm having a helluva time trying to find anything.

Listings started appearing in European online shopping sites a few days ago (i3 and i5 models): https://www.redcorp.com/nl/intel/ba...hr/product-details/27308967.aspx#.VjqJe1WrTIV http://www.solitee.nl/producten/zoek/swift_canyon and more: https://www.google.com/search?q=swift+canyon+nuc&oq=swift+canyon+nuc#q=NUC6i5SYH2.5IN+

Intel has not mentioned any specific release dates, but it looks like release is soon.

These are the 4 models according to one site reporting an update on Skylake U NUCs earlier this week:
BOXNUC6I3SYK – compact Core i3 model
BOXNUC6I3SYH – Core i3 model with space for a 2.5″ drive
BOXNUC6I5SYK – compact Core i5 model
BOXNUC6I5SYH – Core i5 model with space for a 2.5″ drive

From what I understand, these NUC's will be able to hold 32 GB of RAM since they use DDR4.

Looks like only the top end NUC6i5SYK and NUC6i5SYH have Iris.

Well my next best hope is that the recently announced Intel 5x5 platform will support Iris Pro chips
