that actually uses 3 monitors setup ...

There is only very few and most of them just tests them towards the 6 screen setup, which is only like 0.000000000001% who is going to get this kind of setup, and then they show us some really weak benchmarks ..

Take PCPer's review ... http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=889&type=expert&pid=12 ..

I mean come on ... HAWK never had an issue in EF ... then they try Metro 2033 which is 1) Nvidia game 2) brand new and probably not even optimized from ATi ... and then they take Batman which actually shows us the benefit ...

Why didn't they test BF:BC2, Crysis, GTA, FarCry, L4D2, Stalker and so on and so on ..

Meh .. gotta wait I guess ..

The word on the WSGF forums is that when they asked about 5x1p capability the response was 'sometime soon, after launch'.

That's why you're seeing 3x2.

#3 But what about normal 3x1 eyefinity like the most of the eyefinity users will be using ...

#2 again worthless from a 3x1 eyefinity point of view which is what the 2gb/4gb versions is long awaited for ...

tech report shows this thing is a bit slower than GTX 480 in some game, but some other game it perform on par or better..

that is what I was expecting from a 2GB, but its useless for me without mini DP :(

non of em is showing that much of a gain for a $100 premium.... but one of the reviews tried to run batman at 3x1 with hi AA and it ran like crap (unplayable) on a 1GB card. but thats it....

i ordered one from newegg tonight, but i think ill cancel it reading all these reviews ><

techreport has a better review. The minimums are higher than the 1GB card.

The main problem for the 5870 it seems is bandwidth.

lol i love the charts .

Heaven benchmark results 1920x1200 43.3 gets a bar a third of the size of 44.3fps hehe

The only comparison I'm interested in seeing is 3 monitor eyefinity pitting 5970 versus 5870 Crossfire versus 5870 EF 6 Crossfire.

If you don't have these 3 in the mix, your review is waste of time.

#13 yes! :)

But tomshardware has 5870 cf vs 5870 cf in EF ... so its close :)

I would wish they would add the 5970 2GB and 5970 4GB too - then we are ready :)
