Mine's "rebel alliance", from when I used to name all my drives and stuff after Star Wars planets and ships... My Computer was Tatooine, big drive was Falcon, trash can was Death Star (full Death Star when filled, in construction DS when empty), etc. It's been years since I did any of that but it's also been years since I had to reset my router. I still name my drives after ships tho, Battlestar Gallactica atm. :D

Random numbers SSID, with randomized WPA2 password. Change it roughly every "now and then" just in case (lots of close neighbors........meh, I try too hard)

I use to use "donTeventry" but I figured that might be inviting as a challenge to someone smarter than me :D

One does not simply connect to Mordor. :D

Though that gave me an idea. I think I'm going to go with BridgeOfKhazadDum. Maybe I can make the password "YouShallNotPass01!" lol

It has to be a wireless bridge, and not a wireless router, just to give it that extra novelty.

I chose "YourSister".

While riding the bus through town, I sometimes see "angies-crack-den" on my smartphone's SSID list. The area in which I see this is bad enough that it might possibly not be a joke.

I just changed mine to Isengard.

The hobbits are being taken here as I speak.

If I was your neighbor I'd name mine to Minas Tirith, you will not take my Hobbits!

Actually, I think I'm gonna go rename my EVO's WiFi tether hotspot to The Shire...

"Open"

No password. Allowing random people to connect affords plausible deniability.

except you are still liable for everything that goes on on your network. it doesnt matter if you say you didnt download that copywrighted movie or not, you will still be charged a few million $ by the RIAA.

I'd be upset if the RIAA was getting involved in suits about Movies

I'm not. You might be where you live, though. Best to be familiar with the law in your jurisdiction.

Somebody used the joke SSID "FBI_SURVEILLANCE_VAN" within range of someone who could possibly have been under surveillance by a real FBI van (but probably wasn't), so it looks like that joke is getting tired.

By the way, if you choose the SSID "thatswhatshesaid", do not make your router password "yourmom".
