What's the game you could play over and over?

An old PS1 game called Front Mission 3, played through at least 5 times. Brother borrowed the disc and lost it in the end :-( . Tried it in some emulators, but it doesnt feel as good and usually it crashes.

If you go by history then the three games I have played the most often were Diablo 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion :)

The original F.E.A.R. and expansions. The System Shock/Bioshock series.

Original Knights of the Old Republic. Dragon Age Origins.

I don't play them a whole lot, but a couple of games I keep coming back to over time...

STUNTS
One Must Fall: 2097
ReVolt

Wipeout & Wipeout XL for ps1
NBA 2K series atm
left for dead 1 & 2
killing floor
NFL 2K5 xbox version (play this to death until my xbox crap out)

Space Rangers 2 Dominators/Reboot
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines

The original F.E.A.R. and expansions. The System Shock/Bioshock series.

Hmm, I'll have to try F.E.A.R. I tried Bioshock for a couple of hours--never really clicked for me.

I'll go ahead and add a couple to my original Doom 3:

Mass Effect Trilogy (just got ME3 on Origin today for 50% off)
Far Cry 3
Deus Ex: HR

There's no game that I can play forever. The closest was running a raiding guild in World of Warcraft.

Going by time played it would have to be Arma2 and all the mods it has. I always end up coming back to it in one way or another.

25th post and no GoldenEye? I could still put serious hours into that game.

Homeworld, Skyrim, and Supreme Commander would also be contenders.

Just started playing D2 again. God, that game is amazing.

Also, any Metal Gear game, Mario game, Zelda game.

KOTOR is good for a few play throughs. And I'm gonna go there...WoW

Borderlands 1 and 2 qualify I think. I put about 250hrs into BL2 since release, then burned out about a month ago, thought I'd never pick it up again but started a new toon a few days ago and its been a blast.

The best gun is the next one.

Sonic 2
Half-life
Max Payne 1/2

Lost count how many times i have finished those games.
NFL 2K5 xbox version (play this to death until my xbox crap out)
yep still play about once a week....but now on pcsx2. It's a bit unstable though.

Magic Carpet 2
Dungeon Keeper 2
Red Faction: Guerrilla
Space Rangers 2

I guess sequels aren't always a bad thing :)

Quake
Quake 2
Command & Conquer Red Alert 1 & 2 and their expansions
Half Life

Love those classic games

Team Fortress Classic and Guild Wars the only 2 games that I have never been able to let go entirely.

- Quake with Darkplaces and Small Mod Compilation
- Quake 2
- Unreal 1 (with OldSkool Mod/S3TC textures in Unreal Tournament)
- Starcraft Brood War
- Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
- Half-life
- Hexen 2 Portal of Praevus

- Doom 3 + expansion with Sikkmod/textures
- Diablo 3 (flawed game, but still fun at the core)

I seem to prefer the classic games over the more modern games.
