used............I'd look for a Sapphire Toxic 4890 1GB or even a standard 512MB 4870, either one of those cards will kick some serious butt for the money.

new..........get a 5000 series ATI card, the most you can afford.

ssshhhh It's a Secret to Everybody

Keep an eye on Newegg's OpenBox deals and snag the best deal you can get. Also, if they just happen to send the card to you in a retail box and if the retail version has a MIR you MIGHT be able to snag the MIR with an openbox price. Kinda like double dipping! But that's a big YMMV on the MIR so don't count on it....

Try this link if you're lazy

Not sure where you guys are finding 4890s for $100 as I just sold 2 for $155 last week. But if you can find one for that price, then it'll be the most powerful card of the bunch.

Otherwise try looking for a 5750 1Gb as used 5770s are probably more around $125~

After that, the GTS 250 is a pretty good choice also.

Used 5770's are very rare.. & Still a bit more then that I think. for a 5770 best price I think is openbox from newegg.
