What's the Best Encryption for USB Removable Media?

What is the best Encryption/Security software/hardware for USB removable media?
Ideally, I would like something that does not require admin authority from the computer so it can be used on public or corporate machines.

I would guess that Truecrypt would be what you desire.

I would guess anything that uses AES 256 - bit

The only problem with TrueCrypt however, is that if you install it on a USB flash drive, it will only work on computers in which you have ADMIN authority. Therefore, I find it too limiting especially if you want to bring it to, say a Kinkos, where you do not have admin rights.
