There is no best anti-virus but yourself. 99.99% of viruses can easily be avoided by being intelligent, knowledgeable, and mature with computers, the internet, and common sense. Software-based anti-virus is a rolling cycle in terms of who is doing the best job. Even the most secure OS (OpenSUSE I believe) in the hands of someone unintelligent and immature is a squat worthless OS.
