I've been using dual 27" monitors, a Dell S2716DG 1440p 144hz for gaming and Acer K272HUL 1440p 60hz for web etc for quite awhile now. Entertaining the idea of dumping the dual setup and going with an ultrawide curved monitor for simplicity and get rid of the split screens.
I've never had anything bigger then 27" so not sure how 1080 vs 1440p looks at 30"+ but i am a fan of the 1440 resolution. With the nvidia driver changes i guess G Sync isn't 100% a deciding factor now?
I will say i never game full screen, i'm always windowed and looked into LG screen split and displayfusion type software, that is a huge feature that is drawing me to an ultrawide. I like the idea of having my game say split to 2/3 of the screen with a browser on the side, or in the middle with chat and browser on each side, something along those lines.
So, any suggestions on which models to look at?
