Whats a good Texas Hold Em program

Not sure if PokerStars would work under WINE but, can't hurt to try I suppose. "Play money" support but, you have to create an account - and yes I realize that's "online poker" and not a PC-based client only with no online resources.

My poker-software-of-choice on the PC is Poker Academy Pro but I bought that years ago, not sure if it would work in WINE either - and yes again, I realize these are primarily Windows based apps.

Lucky for you I also had another poker program years ago, DDPoker... and, very lucky you, they even have a native Linux version:

That's the best one you're going to get (unless you run Poker Academy Pro under WINE, perhaps).
 
I'll give the ddpoker a shot. I use pokerstars on my other machines but now my main rig is Linux. There was a pokerth on the software center but for some reason it would not install.
