What's a good SATA/IDE to USB 3.0 adapter?

I'm using Sabrent SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 adapter, about 20 to 40 times in the past 8 mth., the unit fails sometimes, I was told it's the transformer inside that craps out

What's a good brand for the above?

I'm also interested in this - AND in what USB 3.0 hub will work with it.
I have a BlacX USB 3 docking station that works OK with my Lenovo T430s notebook (Win7) when connected directly, but not through a hub.

I think it's hairy to connect it to a hub, when I do the above, it's for temporary file transfer, and I always connect directly to a USB port

I have a bunch of SATA to USB 3.0 adapters from the HGST Touro 4gb drives I bought then tore down. Figured I could use them eventually for backup drives
