What version of Vista to use with an amd 64 cpu (32 or 64bit?)

I have am AMD athlon 64 3000+ and have access to a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of Vista, which one should I install? Are there drawbacks of going to the 64-bit (driver/game issues etc?)

If your gonna use it as your main OS to game on, I'd say XP, I've read that people are saying vista betas are not optimized, so that wouldnt be good for gaming.

32bit would probably have better driver support.
