At full load my brand new AMD 64 FX-57 is running 48 degrees Celsius. Since I'm using Arctic Silver 5 and a Zalman 9500LED that seems awfully high. Anyone else have some experience with this?
No, that seems about right. The FX-57 has a 104 or 107 W heat output which is a lot. Depending on your ambient air temp and your case cooling, it should be around 44-48C load. Idle should be around 35-38C
idk that seems quite high since you're using the zalman.
with my opteron up at 2.7ghz + 1.5vcore i get load of 46C on the stock amd cooler (non heatpipe) now yea the ambient temps coudl be different but still.
