What Program to give my Win XP desktop a cool look?

I want my desktop to look more futuristic and graphical and not so plain. What is a good free program that will allow me to do this easily? thanks!

That aston shell looks pretty cool.. i wonder how good it works.

i used aston for a while.

then realized that it wasn't free anymore. but when it comes to features; i give it an "ehh... whatever"

You're better off using some other shell replacement (take a look at www.deviantart.com for some examples, browse by... Category "Skins and Themes;" subcategory "Shell themes").


right now I use a UXTheme called Luna Element 3... check out the neowin.net forums for more info on UXThemes and Luna.

With some modding I made this (original Luna Theme):

If you want to know how to do that, search the neowin.net forums by username with bigflavor.
