Microsoft Laser Mouse 2000
I also don't like all the crazy designs and multiple button schemes of the new 'gaming' mice...all I need is the left/right buttons and a scrolling wheel (with dibits)
Mouse: Razor Death Adder
Keyboard: Razor Black Widow Mechanical Keyboard.
God, those lights!
I guess the lights are useful if you don't know how to touch type, but god... they're so distracting and annoying.
maybe to you. thats why they make a dimmer on the keyboard.
the pic just makes it extremely bright then they look they arent blinding at all.
If there's a proper dimmer then it's not bad, but I still prefer to have the only lit object in a room when I'm playing a game (like FEAR or something, hehe) to be the screen.
yeah there is a off setting then 3 brightness settings and one other settings I Think where the lights stay on for a few sec then go off if you dont type on the keyboard.
Mouse: Razor Death Adder
Keyboard: Razor Black Widow Mechanical Keyboard.

Been using it for almost 7 years... replaced it once, love it.
I guess I'm weird but I don't see the point in spending $50+ on mouse unless you have arthritis or some other medical condition.

Logitech MX1000 wireless laser mouse
best mouse i've ever owned.
must be 6 or 7 years old now and still works great.
someone mentioned earlier about getting the occasional hair in the lenses cavity making tracking go a bit wobbly. other than blowing out the odd cat hair or wiping crud of the feet, joy to use.
the battery life is still good during normal usage. during gaming tho (rts/fps), will run down after 10 to 12hrs heavy usage. this might be due to age of the device tho.
apart from the mouse and my MS 'Wireless Comfort Keyboard' (just can't use keyboards without the 'break' or curved keys now), it's the oldest piece of hardware attached to the PC.
