So i've decided to over-diversify, this is what i'm holding:

~300 ARK (ArkEcoSystem) - Had an ATH in mid-sept then dropped like a rock. Its BTC value has "bottomed" back to where it was in August, but since btc has tripled since then, this coin is still way up from that time. I'm hoping this is the next Dash/Eth, but it has an odd behavior (to my understanding) that those who are bought into the coin get dividends of sorts. So if you're holding 10k coins, you're getting 1 coin daily dividend. I have a feeling this will limit its value over time.

~500 TIX (Blocktix) - Eth based "event hosting" coin. A brand new coin that jumped massively recently, I'm really going in blind on this one.
https://blocktix.io/

~500 BCPT (BlockMason) - Crypto Debt/Credit Ledgers. Is seeking patents. IF they get them, I imagine it'll skyrocket. This isn't listed on Bittrex (yet) so I had to buy on Binance.
https://blockmason.io/

~400 LINK (ChainLink) - Yet another newer coin (Sept 2017). Has an absolutely great domain name (Smartcontract.com). Works as a middleman for using any coin you'd like to complete projects. This coin is shilled constantly. Its been constantly losing value but is finally starting to upturn. I think this one has potential to be big in 2018. Its about $0.25 now I'm looking at chance for $1-$3.... or it completely dying out.

~500 XLM (Stellar Lumen)
- This coin has been around since 2016, had its ATH in may 2017, has divebombed like ark. I had someone randomly put ~50 coins into my bittrex a few months ago, and I just recently bought more just cuz they're so low/cheap. If it somehow gets to $1.00 (I dunno lol?) then I've made a huge profit. Basically a penny stock. Sceptics I've read have basically said that Stellar's idea/tech is just going to be copied by other people and no one will actually use it.
https://www.stellar.org/lumens/

~200 POWR (PowerLedger) - Another very new coin. Australian Solar Power. Has government grant support. Possibly more support later. Had a pump/dump, is evening out now. Long term hope that it hits $2-10 in value, but I probably won't keep this long term.
https://powerledger.io/

~100 VOX (Voxels) - A 2016 coin that has all but died. Coin of a VR game ecosystem I got in on a small pump/dump and the remainder i have left is just profit'd coins that I keep around in case it goes way up in a year somehow. You probably shouldn't buy this coin.

~100 (NAGA) - A cryptocoin spinoff of an actual, existing product; that being a german social media financial trading market (wut?). This article says its probably a scam, but I read it AFTER buying in. (edit: CAN YOU TURN OFF THESE STUPID AS HELL MEDIA AUTO-FORMATS KYLE, IT GETS REALLY ANNOYING TRYING TO PASTE A LINK WITHOUT IT TURNING INTO SOME BUGGY WINDOW IN MY POST!!!!!!!!!!!) medium.com/crypt-bytes-tech/naga-ico-is-it-snake-oil-fc91f49d1317. So I might have lost $100 on this. Also it might be illegal for me to own any of these coins as a US resident due to it being tied to the German stock market. I really have no idea how the law works.

My big money is currently more in ETH than BTC due to some bad decisions during that 10k->9.3k->10.5k->9.9k rollercoaster where bittrex and coinbase/gdax both were slow as hell to respond due to network overload.

come on... It's doubled in the last week.. Worth half of what it was three months ago.. It's a long shot ami right? :p

I have:

300 Waves

20 Neo

40 Radium

3 Zen :D

360 Shift

250 Nexus

6300 SunContract

Now SunContract is the same as Power Ledger, which actually a copy of SunContract.
SN has a lot of space to grow. It's EU based while PL is Australia based. However EU is both richer and have a higher demand for clean energy compared to Australia so I believe SN price will only keep growing.
SN exploded in price lately. I bought it at $0.035, it's worth $0.2 at the moment so I got a nice gain. It can easily go to $2 and still keep equal market cap of PL.
I do not think PL will go much in price. It has 1bil coin supply. With it's current price it would put it in 710mil market cap. Now that's a lot.

On top of that I have 65000 BitcoinZ which I just mine and sell every 2 weeks. It's a nice project though, might be worth a lot more in the future.

Spank Coin...because porn.
Fun Coin.......because gambling
Civic Coin.....because blockchain identity verification, and Transunion is in on the project
BAT...............because there will be a new and better way for advertisers to make money, and this will be one of them
Argon............because Blockchain business in a box

These to me seem like solid ideas, time will tell if it will pan out. IF it does, great! If not, not a big loss it's nice to back something that may have a solid impact in the not too distant future.

ripple is the closest thing I have to a long shot right now.
Though the current downtrend in eth and ltc is making feel like they were longshots and I screwed up.

I have 10,074 Dogecoin, I mined it way back when and decide that it most likely will go no where but JUST in case, keep it. To be fair it has only gone up lol. When I mined it, it was worth nothing BUT NOW its at $27 lol

Also Nav coin, I have about 185 of those

I still consider Monero (XMR) undervalued. I'm long Monero for about 20 coins.

Any other way to buy Crypto like these that's not on Coinbase, that just as simple?

I'm a newbie.

Anyone have opinions on VTC? I'm mining it because it works well on my cards and is pretty user friendly...

Yeah I have like 25 or so right now. I think its going to go up in the coming year. Hopefully around the $100 mark or so. Its a great coin IMO.

going all in on PIRL(pirl.io) while its in beta. My coin for 2018.

Update on my coins:

ARK (ArkEcoSystem)
- Sitting at $5.00 (Up ~20%)

TIX (Blocktix) - $1.24 (Up ~20%)

BCPT (BlockMason) - $0.20 (Down)

LINK (ChainLink) - $0.32 (Up a little)

XLM (Stellar Lumen)
- $0.21 (Doubled)

POWR (PowerLedger) - $0.69 (Up a little)

VOX (Voxels) - $0.34 (Up a little)

NAGA - ICO ended yesterday

All the mid to high profile coins I track seem to have had a bunch of dips at similar areas but are up 20%+ since a month ago. Wondering what new year/christmas will do for the market.

its got a bit more overhead but the easiest thing to do is buy eth/ltc from coinbase, move it to another exchange (i use bittrex) then sell that on there and buy whatever currency you want.

ADX , it's for managing online advertisements directly between advertiser and the platform, no more middle men. Hopefully it turns into something. Other than that, Ripple

This is exactly what I do.

Right now I have the following...

BTC
ADA - Quadroupled my original investment
POWR - Doubled my original
BTG
VTC
XLM - Tripled my original
MANA
SC - Tripled my original
ETH
XRP

this is my long hold coin. i'm fresh into crypto (2 months) but had researched prior to buying anything and found this one and really liked it. when i bought my initial BTC i used some of it to get 100 VTC and have also been mining it for the last month or so. while it hasn't "mooned" yet it has been surprisingly stable the past several weeks, no huge swings in either direction, which could be a good sign for it.

Anyone doing anything with SALT? Their platform is supposed to be live in Q4 so they're running out of time... I want to get in but I'm worried it will plummet if they miss the time target, and conversely, worried it will shoot up and I'll miss out if they do launch.

Is anyone mining or holding gridcoin? It looks like such an undervalued coin and its compute power is actually going to something good.

Sounds interesting. Like the old folding@home days. Thanks, I'm gonna look into it more.

RaiBlocks (XRB) has got my attention. The idea makes sense and the execution seems pretty solid. Fast transactions with no transaction fees.

Mining ETN. I been on Nanopool and closing in on payout.
Would like to change. I thought Nanopool was bad till i tried a few others.

Also doing Vertcoin

yeah I keep having random small payments trickle in from some failovers so nanopool does still go down some but its easily the best one and I've been on it for a while now. I get about 500ETN a day.

Mining on electroneum.space
Nice to get a consistent payout every hour.

they were my primary for a while but they're my #2 right now. They had some problems early on but they're probably worth bumping back to #1 for me.

Yeah in the past couple weeks, I think they've only been down twice. The other day they wiped everything and my stats counter went back to zero, but since then everything seems to be back to normal.
