No Ryzen 5000 will work officially on X370 without bios hacks.

7a33v5J1 was the earliest BIOS for that board to support 3000 series chips. The 3600 should work fine. You need at least a b450 to run a 5600x or other zen3.

3900XT and the 3950X is listed, dunno if practical or what the vrms are like.

VRMs are decent. Not the board I'd pair anything over a 3600 with, though.

Unfortunately there is no official 5000 series bios support so 3600XT or 3800XT.

I was able to get a 3900X running stable on my Asrock X370 F4Tality Gaming K4. It took a bit of effort and tweaking to get it to happen though.

R5 3600 works fine. Bios sucks though - it's beta and ugly as sin, but functional.
